Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966 to a wealthy family. Doody is the youngest of three. She studied in a nunnery where she developed an appreciation in the arts. She later studied at The National College of Fine Arts in Dublin in Ireland, but quit because she was not motivated and decided to be able to take a few years off to think about it. While sitting with her friends in a restaurant, a photographer approached and asked if she wanted to act as a model. The model agreed because she'd be able to use the money for pockets money. Modelling was both rewarding and fun, and shortly after, she started doing it professionally. It was possible for her to explore the globe with her commercial business after securing modeling agreements. In one of these days, a casting director saw her work and recommended she attempt acting instead. The director sent her to London at age 19, which was where she won an audition to be part of the upcoming James Bond film, A View to a Kill (1985). She so loved acting that she pursued a career in the same direction. In the wake of her first feature was made, she shot several TV productions both in London as well as in Dublin however her biggest breakthrough came when she was chosen to play Aryan sexual seductress, the Dr. Elsa Schneider in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
